Bonners Ferry sprotued up out of a river crossing for prospectors heading to gold discoveries in Canada in the 1860’s. The Boundary County Museum holds a collection of historical photos and exhibits of the daily lives of the people of Boundary County as the town prospered through an influx of prospectors, railroad men, timber men, and homesteaders.
