This interpretive center honors those pioneers whose cultural and creative contributions helped shape Boise and the surrounding areas. At this site, visitors will find information about Arthur De Wint Foote and his wife, Mary Hallock Foote and the art and engineering contributions this couple made to the Old West.

Things to Know

  • Directions: From Highway 21, turn to cross Lucky Peak Dam, follow the ridge road for about 1/2 mile to the next Foote Park sign. Turn right downhill back towards the river, travel about 1/2 mile to the park at the end of the gravel road.
