St. Maries Farmers Market

The inception of the St. Maries Farmers Market dates back to 2014 when a small group of residents converged to trade their goods for extra cash. Over the years, the market has blossomed into a vibrant community hub, hosting over 75 local vendors, live musical performances, a complimentary kids crafting booth, and a variety of other attractions.

Eagle Island State Park is a 545 acre day-use park west of Boise that features a popular swimming beach, a grassy picnic area, a waterslide and more than five miles of trails for those looking for a place to ride horses, hike, walk your dog, or play disc golf. The park also has a zip line course which consists of six zip lines and features one of the state's first quick jumps, which is a parachute simulated leap off of a 60-foot tower.

Visitors to Three Island Crossing State Park will find the area much more hospitable than did the 19th century Oregon Trail pioneers who crossed the mighty Snake River at this site Take a self-guided tour of the park and see the original wagon ruts and Conestoga replicas, visit the Oregon Trail History and Education Center to learn more about pioneers, early settlers and Native American history, dangle your feet or a line in the Snake River where emigrants made their historic crossings or sit under a tree and enjoy a picnic lunch.

Hells Gate State Park

Hells Gate State Park sits on river bottom exposed after the great ice age floods about 15,000 years ago. At the south end of the park are basaltic columns from the Pomona flows 14 million years ago. Hells Gate State Park was also the site of a Nez Perce village.
