Yes! A lot! Shoshone Falls, Perrine Coulee Falls, Pillar Falls, Auger Falls, Niagara Springs Falls, Lemon Falls, Box Canyon Falls, Malad Gorge, Mermaid Cove, Cauldron Linn, and Ross & Phantom Falls.

Where can I find fall foliage?

Try a variety of hiking trails in the South Hills like Ross Falls, Eagle Loop, and Wahlstrom Hollow, visit Lake Cleveland, Lake Walcott, City of Rocks National Reserve and Fairfield, or enjoy the colors from a scenic fall drive!

Can we see wildflowers in south central Idaho?

Yes! The Camas lily bloom at Camas Prairie Centennial Marsh in late May/early June. Visit Mt. Harrison to find the rare Christ’s Indian Paintbrush or visit Lake Cleveland or the South Hills.

What can I do during the winter?

Ski and snowboard at Pomerelle Mountain Resort, Soldier Mountain or Magic Mountain Ski Resort. Soak at Miracle, Banbury or Durfee Hot Springs. Find snowmobile trails near Albion or Twin Falls.

South central Idaho is full of diverse geology. What should I visit?

Thousand Springs State Park (six units), Snake River Canyon, Balanced Rock, Shoshone Ice Caves, Mammoth Cave, Teepee Rocks, Castle Rocks State Park, City of Rocks, Craters of the Moon and Little City of Rocks.

What historic sites and museums can I visit?

Southern Idaho has a variety of historic and cultural sites to explore! Minidoka National Historic Site, Hagerman Fossil Beds National Monument, Perrine Bridge, Oakley Historical Area, Wilson Theatre, Rock Creek Station & Stricker Homesite, and Herrett Center for Arts & Science.
